Roles & Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial buildings
- Collaborate with large general contractor teams, including carpenters, on complex projects
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and compliance with building codes and regulations
- Perform installation, mechanical rooms, pipefitting, and other necessary tasks to complete commercial plumbing systems
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and local plumbing codes
- Hoisting and rigging equipment for moving heavy materials and equipment on job sites (if applicable)
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Plumbing license
- Level 2 Apprentice (minimum)
- 3+ years experience in the plumbing industry
- Commercial experience on large-scale construction sites
- Valid Lift and Fall Protection tickets are considered an asset
- Able to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials
- Experience with Victaulic, Megapress, and propress an asset
- Valid driver's license
